At RKids, our Pre Primary 2 Program nurtures young minds through fun, hands-on activities in a safe and caring environment.
We focus on building social skills, creativity, and early learning through play-based experiences.
The Pre-Primary 2 program at FirstCry Intellitots is thoughtfully tailored for children aged 5 – 6, providing them with a solid foundation as they transition towards formal school education. Our focus is on nurturing fluency in language skills through both oral and written communication, encouraging cooperative play to build social bonds, enhancing fine motor skills through writing and drawing activities, and fostering logical and critical thinking abilities.
This program ensures children are well-prepared for concept-based learning and school readiness, building on the strong foundation laid in Pre-Primary 1. Our Pre-Primary 2 program is aligned with national and international syllabi to ensure a smooth transition of children to Grade 1.
Fluency in communication allows children to articulate their thoughts into words, both oral & written. To empower students with this fluency and inculcate the ability to follow word commands, the PP2 program involves extensive involvement in role-play activities, storytelling sessions, creative writing and many more.
These fine-tune early language skills, giving children the confidence to express themselves freely and confidently as they make the transition to formal school
Writing, drawing and colouring are important skills during early childhood years. In the PP2 program, children are given ample opportunity to explore their creativity through various hands-on activities such as creating simple origami models, arranging blocks in 3D structures – house, bridge, etc. and using a variety of writing tools to develop their fine motor skills.
Strong social skills are the stepping stones to building positive interactions. Once children are aware of their feelings and the feelings of others, they are able to empathize and collaborate better.
At this age, they are also increasingly inventive in pretend play and these abilities are further honed in group activities to help them grow as team players – which in turn also allows children to exhibit leadership qualities from a tender age
Through enhanced cognitive development, children in our PP2 program gain the ability to question and reason about the order of things in their lives & surroundings. They are also introduced to thinking in logical steps and developing problem-solving skills, helping them in activities like solving mazes independently and thinking of alternatives in explanations and outcomes – What if? Why is this…? And so on.
These are critical skills that will help them in their transition to formal school and improve their ability to grasp more complex subjects going forward.
